For independent dealers
The short answer
£19.99 a month covers 120 full reports. From 5 reports a month it costs less than buying them one at a time at £4.99, and at 10 cars a month it works out at £2.00 a car.
Most independent dealers sell somewhere between a handful of cars and a couple of dozen a month. A trade account is built for that: one monthly price, enough reports for every car you buy in and every car you sell, and a PDF you can hand to the buyer.
What it costs at your volume
One report per car, which you can reuse: run it when the car comes in, hand the same report to the buyer when it goes.

At 4 reports a month the two cost about the same. Above that the account is cheaper, and the rest of the 120 reports cover part-exchanges and cars you look at but do not buy.
What each report gives you
- Every MOT test on record, with every defect and advisory word for word, graded the way the tester recorded it.
- A mileage check across every MOT reading.
- The parts that keep coming back, visit by visit.
- A condition checklist for the buyer: every part the MOT has noted and what happened to it, then the paperwork that goes with the car.
- An A4 PDF to print, email or send from your phone, and a link the buyer can open without an account.
If you need more
100 more reports are £9.99 a month, added from your account. The account owner is told when 80% of the month’s reports are used.
Setting it up
Create the account with your business name and email, pay by card, and you are signed in. There is no password: you sign in with a link or a six-digit code sent to your email. Add your team from the Team tab.
Frequently asked questions
Can my salesperson use it too?
Yes. Up to 3 people share the account, each signing in with their own email. Another person is £4.99 a month and brings 30 more reports.
Do unused reports carry over?
No. The 120 reports reset each month on the day you joined. A report that fails to build does not count.
Is there a contract?
No. It is monthly and you cancel from your account. Within 7 days of your first payment you get £19.99 back, less £4.99 for each report you have run.
Does it include finance or write-off checks?
No. Reports are built on DVLA and DVSA records: MOT history, mileage, tax and recalls. Use a provenance check for finance and write-offs.
